This shirt/field jacket - made originally for the Korean Army - is given a decidedly dreamlike air, thanks to the 1 metre or so of PINKO archive-obtained cloud-patterned jacquard fabric used to create the sleeves, complete with the hand-applied original cuffs in camouflage-print fabric. The piece is part of the REIMAGINE PINKO Summer 21 Edition capsule collection, created in collaboration with - and thanks to the innovative creativity of - Patrick McDowell. It took one hour to make this item. Any apparent imperfections are actually traces of this garment’s previous life and truly encapsulate the meaning of real recycling. Model is 177cm tall and wears a size 40.
